On this site, I will post all my other miscellaneous items which I have collected over the years. I can't say there are many but to some these are considered as junks or garbage but to me, it's a collectible. Some of these came from the family or through inheritance and that is why I am keeping them. Whilst my heading for this site is Australia Postal and Numismatic covers, I have stopped collecting them as to me, it is not that attractive to collect anymore. I hope you like them as much as I do.

World Master Games - Sydney 2009

Sydney 2009 World Masters Games $1
This $1 coin was struck to commemorate the seventh World Masters Games hosted by the city of Sydney, Australia from 10-18 October 2009.

The Sydney 2009 World Master games represent an opportunity for everyone to participate in a major international sporting event - so long as they meet the minimum age for their chosen sport (which ranges between 25 and 35 years of age).

The Games are all about being fit, fun and forever young, with competitors having the opportunity to compete at world-class sporting venues, many of ehich hosted competition during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
